Opis stanowiska (zewn.)

Responsibilities:

  • translation of business questions into quantitative analyses
  • opportunity to pursue your own ideas and approaches independently using huge amounts of data from different data sources (e.g., customer/assortment/shopping/store data) - supported by an experienced Data Science team
  • creation and development and project responsibility for complex statistical data and forecasting models, support of various departments with ad-hoc analyses concerning Controlling KPIs
  • structuring, preparation, and visualization of business analyses as well as deriving recommendations for the management
  • training and consulting of the international controlling departments in the fields of Data Analysis and Statistics.

What we expect:

  • higher university degree with a quantitative focus (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics/Mathematics, Business Administration, …)
  • good programming skills in SQL and R or Python (preferably with first practical/business experience), 
  • knowledge in Statistics, Data Mining and Predictive Analytics and first experience in applying common frameworks like pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn, matplotlib/seaborn or equivalents in R
  • fluent english language skills are required, german is a plus, ability to work independently and to communicate with and present to technical and non-technical audience
  • first experience with the Azure Cloud and Databricks is a plus.
